Paleo diet foods list, Paleo diet Guidelines

Before there were packaged goods, processed foods, GMOs and an ongoing debate between organic or not, there was dirt, seeds, water and roaming animals. It may be hard to consider now, but the dawn of man produced hunters and gatherers and humans had to get their own food – not by heading to the supermarket.

There were no sprays to kill insects, no chemicals or genes added or modified. No extra-large tomatoes or vibrant yellow bananas. Food was simple. It was either found, picked or hunted. And although there weren’t doctors or research scientists to confirm the benefits of such eating, it seems that when it comes to dietary habits, eating like our ancestors has some merit.

Diets come and diets go, but one in particular seems to have staying power and for good reasons as well. It’s based on eating similar to that of prehistoric man and it’s being touted as one of the best way to eat. It’s called the Paleo diet.

What is the Paleo diet?
The Paleo diet was created by Loren Cordain, a now-famous author, speaker and professor of health and exercise science at Colorado State University, who specializes in disease and diet. The Paleo diet itself reflects food items and methods of eating similar to our Stone Age ancestors – that’s right, this diet is framed around eating like cavemen. Through scientific research and peer-reviewed studies, Cordain has uncovered many health benefits to eating the Stone Age way.

There are seven premise on which the Paleo diet guidelines are based:

High protein
Low carbohydrates and low glycemic index
High fiber
Moderate to high fat intake – monosaturated and polysaturated fats with omega-3s and 6s

High potassium, low sodium
Net dietary alkaline balances dietary acid – some foods produce acid (meat) and others are alkaline (fruits and vegetables). Eating a balance of both alkaline and acid foods can have positive health effects.

High intake of vitamins, minerals, antioxidants and plant phytochemicals.

Proactol Supplement for Weight Loss

Losing weight is a big deal—no pun intended. More and more people are getting engaged in weight loss targets and achieving a physically fit body. This is also the reason why gyms are mushrooming here and there and the reason why many gyms tend to offer twenty four hours access to members! That’s how serious losing weight means to people but apart from hitting the gym, weight loss supplements like Proactol are also becoming in demand today.
Proactol Binds With Fatty Acids
Proactol is considered as one of the top weight loss supplements today and why it has become immensely well renowned is because of two important factors. First—it has the ability to bind with fat immediately. Fat are less dense materials and when it mixes with the rest of the foods that we take into our stomach, fatty substances tend to float. When a person takes Proactol, the substances in this supplement bind with fat immediately and stabilize them for natural elimination. This means that the fatty foods have lesser to no chance of getting into your colon for absorption because first and foremost, it has already stabilized with Proactol.
Proactol Lessens Food Craving
The last crucial role of Proactol, but definitely not the least, is its ability to reduce one’s food craving. With that, a person with fast metabolism and absorption of glucose tend to become hungry easily. With Proactol, the contents of the stomach are turned into a more viscous solution thereby slowing down the rate of glucose metabolism and absorption. In effect, a person’s hunger and food craving becomes less frequent.
Proactol Lessens A Person’s Food Intake
Because of the effects of Proactol in the body, a person’s intake is greatly lessened up to 27 % of all the fat you normally eat. This is based on three clinical trials conducted by researchers in validating Proactol’s effectiveness.
No one would want to be tagged as a potential contestant for The Biggest Loser reality show. It would be a slap on one’s face and would be bring yourself to a low self-esteem. Being a plus size is not something to be taken lightly since apart from the inconveniences that is brings to the body, it is also a predisposing factor to many lifestyle and diet related diseases.

Lose Your Baby Weight

Your body goes through lots of changes throughout your pregnancy and inevitably you will gain more weight. After giving birth you will notice your body will just not automatically ping back into shape and back to your previous weight. Therefore you will need to take action and decide how you will lose weight. It could be through a specific weight loss diet plan or just eating healthy foods to lose weight. The best weight loss program will be those that are specifically targeted at new mothers as these are generally a lot slower in pace and will be filled with all the vital food nutrients that you body needs especially if you are feeding your new baby.

Take Action

It can be difficult when you are a new mom, as you will find that the new arrival will take up the majority of your time and leave you very little to concentrate on your goals. However if you truly desire to get back into shape and get back the body you once had then you will need to focus on your motivation for weight loss and ensure you take action to get back to your ideal weight.

Weight loss tips for Women

The first step you will want to take is to ensure you have set your self realistic goals, as stated previously this will not be a quick fix and will take time and if you set yourself unrealistic targets you will increase your chances of failure and this will affect your confidence and cause you to lose your motivation for weight loss

You will need to exercise gently at first and gradually increase your exercise levels as your body becomes more accustomed to it. Too much too soon can be dangerous if you have just had a baby so go easy on yourself and don’t go pushing yourself at the gym. Ideally you could just go out walking with your new baby or you could follow a diet and exercise program that is gentle and not too extreme.

Perhaps you could get a group together of new moms that you have met since you had your baby and most women want to lose weight after having a baby so you could set up your own slimming group. This will increase your motivation for weight loss as well as you will be working with others. This is also a great idea for sharing tips and recipes with each other and of course giving you a social life which can sometimes be hard when you have a new baby.
